Man, you set us up to be all worried about Sam moving out, only to pull this. You guys are eeeeevil.
Also, this page is comedy gold. The amazing throwing panel, the freak-out kid and the sheer number of "practice darts" already on the board, and the hilariously smug grins in the final panel--I love it all.
Despite the velocity, those darts won't stop the more serious opponents, unless she plans to apply some sort of agent on them, like a sedative or poison.
Hey, in a world where regular girls get bee and snake powers, such a windfall of lottery money and hot yet subservient second husbands isn't impossible
All her darts have solid-yellow fins. All the other (I.E., prior) darts in his board have a fin-pattern of red-white-blue, & not nearly as centered a spread. My opinion is that this is her only board-strike today...?
2 suggested changes for that penultimate panel:
1)__replace "STICK!" with a resounding "THWOCK!", using thick, bold strokes for the letters.
2)__The kid's outcry might be either "NOT AGAIN!" or maybe just "AGAIN???!?"
1) "Thwock" would suggest that the dart didn't lose any velocity/force/energy in its travels.
2) "Again!" suggests that, having been through this before, he has already told our favorite heroe to desist, but she just doesn't listen. So he has accepted, in that moment, that there's nothin' he can do about it.

I love her so much.
