Oh lordy, that cheesy big grin, ha ha. It's a good costume and the back explanation does make sense. Her later one is more sexy, per se, but I could see this as a transition from now to then. Most notably I like the domino mask and what she did with her hair.
I think one thing I like about this more than the future one is the exclusion of the pointed tail. I know it's to be reminiscent of a bee's stinger, but I remember seeing that and thinking "she totally got that from a halloween devil's costume"! That said, I can totally see her doing that still.
See, I figured the backless costume was to keep her wings from being impeded. Insisting on shorts, however, might be a pain, given her leg hair situation.
In her future, I'm seeing:
- "sideboob"-type wardrobe malfunctions
- losing her shorts
...she'd be better off with a stretchy "one-piece" that's backless only above the shoulder-blades, & has a secure fastener behind the neck. A modified swim-suit might be just the thing! I could go either way on the whole "unprotected legs"-issue.
Also:
- She might want to get protective lenses for the mask, & tint them to hide her eye-color.
- Long hair is a VERY handy way for bad-guys to grab hold of you! Very bad planning, Cynthia!
"Trial By Fire" is all well-&-good...
...if you survive. Hopefully she'll learn some lessons from movies - such as that wise woman, "Edna Mode":
"NO-CAPES!!!"
